• Remote Learning:

    Due to increased COVID numbers in the area, Webster City Schools has applied and received a waiver from the Iowa Department of Education to move to remote learning for all grades PK-12. Webster City School will be remote starting Nov. 30 until Dec 11th. Please see the News and Announcements section of the website for more information.

Due to the substantial increase of COVID cases in the area resulting in increasing numbers of staff and students in quarantine, I am writing to let you know that the Webster City Community School District is planning to apply to the Iowa Department of Education for a waiver to move to remote learning beginning Monday, November 30 through Friday, December 11. 

In order for our teachers to make final preparations for this shift, there will be no classes next week, Monday through Wednesday, November 23-25. However, high school students should remember that college classes are not impacted by this change.

Webster City Schools was notified by Timberline Billing Services LLC of a data privacy issue on their servers that may have affected our students and families. The incident impacted districts throughout Iowa, including Webster City, that use Timberline Billing to help process Medicaid billings for some of our students. Families that may have been impacted recently received a letter from Timberline.
