The Return to Learn plan provides a high level overview of the districts plan to return to school in the fall. Webster City Schools staff are continuing to work on the many details that fall under the plans high level overview. There continues to be a great deal of uncertainty around what the start of the school year will look like in Iowa. Dr. Ross Update Letter

June 17, 2020

Dear Families,

As a community, we continue to deal with the widespread effects of the COVID-19 pandemic and the economic turmoil and stress it has caused. I would like to share with you some key resources that may assist you and your loved ones during this difficult time.

Mental and emotional health resources available throughout our community can be found in this  Google Folder. Additionally, if you or someone you know is struggling with feelings of depression or anxiety, Your Life Iowa offers a crisis line and mobile crisis unit. You may access these services by calling 855-581-8111, texting 855-895-8398, or visiting https://yourlifeiowa.org.

Food pantry resources in Hamilton, Humboldt, Franklin, and Wright counties can be found in this Google Folder. A wide variety of organizations, churches, and agencies are providing additional support to families who may need a little extra help securing food during the pandemic.

Finally, I would like to share this Multi-County Resource Directory, which offers links and contact information to a range of community resources across our region.

We are working hard this summer to plan for school next fall. Please watch for communications about these plans over the summer. In the meantime, I hope you all stay safe and healthy during this summer!

Sincerely,

Dr. Mandy Ross, Superintendent

Webster City Community Schools

Estimadas familias:

Atentamente,

Dra. Mandy Ross, Superintendente

Webster City Community School District
