Teaching and Learning

Webster City Community School District provides a comprehensive, diverse, and challenging array of rich learning experiences to meet the needs of all students. Based on State and National Standards, WCCSD's curriculum provides the framework of a student’s educational journey from kindergarten to senior year in high school. 

The District uses four student-centered questions to guide our curriculum, assessment, instruction, and professional development to create a structure of support to promote each student’s success:
1. What do we want all students to learn?
2. How will we know when they have learned it?
3. What will we do when they have learned it?
4. What will we do when they have not learned it?
