Ken Tabor Memorial Scholarship

The Ken Tabor Memorial Scholarship was established in 2018 in memory of Ken Tabor, a teacher and school counselor at Webster City HIgh School from 1969-1993. Ken's passion was mentoring and educating children. He lived a life of service to his community, of appreciation for nature and the world around him, and of commitment to his family.
Scholarship amount: $500
The schlarship will be awarded in 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022. The scholarship money will be distributed through the WCCS Business Office.
Criteria:
- The recipient will be a current graduating Webster City High School Senior
- The recipient will be planning to attend college full time in the fall.
- The recipient will be planning to major in education.
The Common Scholarship Application will be used. In the personal letter to the committee, the applicant will include his/her reasons for choosing a career in education.
